We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic HR team in Switzerland.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of monthly payroll activities while supporting payroll administration across multiple Swiss entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process, including data collection, validation and processing of payroll-related changes.

• Perform payroll controls, reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure data accuracy.

• Prepare and process monthly and annual reports, as well as statutory declarations (social security, withholding tax, family allowances, accident insurance, maternity, etc.).

• Maintain payroll documentation and employee records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions.

• Support the administration of Swiss social security, pension schemes, withholding tax and family allowance processes.

• Handle various payroll-related administrative tasks, including invoicing and employee benefit administration.

• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure efficient payroll operations.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience within Switzerland.

• Solid knowledge of Swiss payroll legislation, social security and withholding tax regulations.

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Well-organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Service-oriented mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Fluent French and good command of English are required.

Education & Qualifications

• Business education, HR qualification or equivalent Swiss certification.

• Additional knowledge of international payroll or cross-border social security regulations would be considered an asset.
