IAM Functional Expert / Business Analyst
Location: Lausanne or Olten, Switzerland (up to 2 days/week remote)
Duration: Temporary contract until end of 2026
About the role
Our client is a large Swiss organisation currently undergoing a significant Identity & Access Management transformation. They are looking for an experienced IAM Functional Expert / Business Analyst to drive governance maturity, role model design, and business process integration — enabling scalable and automated identity lifecycle management.
This is a central role bridging business and technical teams, leading workshops and owning the design of processes required to reach a high level of IAM maturity, with a particular focus on role engineering and Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes.
Responsibilities
Re-design and mature the IAM role model, including business roles, birthright access, and role hierarchy
Lead role mining and role engineering workshops with business stakeholders and application owners
Define Mover process business requirements and automation rules, and drive their implementation
Coordinate the definition of Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and toxic access combinations
Define and implement access review and recertification processes based on application criticality and risk
Establish governance and ownership frameworks for applications, roles, and entitlements
Act as liaison between business teams, compliance, and IAM technical teams
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, IAM Governance, or Information Security
Proven experience designing and implementing RBAC models, including business roles and role engineering
Solid understanding of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and their automation
Experience facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and application owners
Strong analytical, documentation, and business process modelling skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Fluent English required; German and/or French is an asset
Experience with IGA platforms (One Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt or similar) is a plus
Experience in regulated industries (Energy, Finance, Healthcare) is a plus
Preferred background
We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in IAM Governance, IGA, or Information Security consulting, and experience in application inventory, ownership assignment, and risk classification in complex enterprise environments.
Previous experience as an IAM Consultant, IGA Specialist, Identity Governance Analyst, or Business Analyst in IAM would be highly valued.
