PAM Technical Engineer – CyberArk Platform Onboarding

Location: Lausanne or Olten, Switzerland (up to 2 days/week remote)

Duration: Temporary contract until end of 2026

About the role

Our client is a major Swiss organisation currently expanding and maturing its Privileged Access Management programme. They are looking for a hands-on PAM Technical Engineer to accelerate the onboarding of systems and platforms into CyberArk Privilege Cloud.

Embedded within the cybersecurity team, this role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact security initiative in a complex enterprise environment, with direct and immediate contribution from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard servers, databases, cloud platforms, and applications into CyberArk Privilege Cloud

  • Discover and remediate unmanaged privileged accounts across the organisation

  • Configure password vaulting, credential rotation, and session management

  • Implement privileged account onboarding standards and internal procedures

  • Support PAM controls for Windows, Linux, databases, AWS and other platforms

  • Perform privileged account discovery and risk assessments

Requirements

  • Around 1 to 3+ years of experience implementing and operating Privileged Access Management solutions

  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud or CyberArk PAM — mandatory

  • Experience onboarding Windows, Linux, databases, and network devices into a PAM solution

  • Knowledge of privileged account governance and least privilege principles

  • Experience integrating PAM solutions with enterprise identity platforms

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills

  • Fluent English required; German and/or French is an asset

  • Experience with PowerShell, scripting, or automation tools is a plus

Preferred background

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience onboarding databases, DevOps platforms, or service accounts into PAM, and a background in Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management, or IT Infrastructure.

Previous experience as a PAM Engineer, CyberArk Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar hands-on PAM role would be highly valued.
