Procurement Transformation Director
Our client is a leading international consulting firm that partners with organizations to transform their operations, procurement functions, and business performance.
To support its continued growth in Switzerland, we are seeking a highly experienced Director – Procurement Transformation to drive business development, lead strategic transformation engagements, and help clients redefine the way their Procurement organizations operate.
Your Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Leadership
Develop and strengthen relationships with senior procurement and transformation leaders, including Chief Procurement Officers, Heads of Procurement, COOs, and Transformation Directors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national and international clients.
Lead proposal development and support the acquisition of strategic consulting engagements.
Contribute to the growth and development of the Procurement consulting practice and service portfolio.
Procurement Transformation
Lead large-scale procurement transformation programs across various industries.
Design and implement Procurement Target Operating Models aligned with business objectives.
Optimize end-to-end procurement processes, including Source-to-Pay, Strategic Sourcing, Spend Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, Order Management, and Invoice-to-Pay.
Support clients in enhancing procurement efficiency, governance, and organizational effectiveness.
Advise on shared service centers, procurement operating models, outsourcing strategies, and procurement business partnering frameworks.
Digital Procurement & Technology Advisory
Assess and optimize procurement technology landscapes.
Advise clients on market-leading Source-to-Pay and procurement digital solutions.
Support technology selection, implementation, and adoption initiatives.
Drive digital transformation initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and value creation.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor a team of procurement and transformation professionals.
Foster talent development, coaching, and career progression within the team.
Manage cross-functional projects and workstreams within large-scale transformation programs.
Promote collaboration, innovation, and excellence across client engagements.
Your Profile
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience within a leading consulting firm or a senior procurement transformation role.
Strong expertise in procurement operating models, strategic sourcing, and procurement transformation.
Proven experience with procurement technologies and digital procurement solutions.
Demonstrated success in leading complex transformation programs and managing executive-level stakeholders.
Strong business development and sales capabilities with a track record of acquiring and growing client relationships.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent in English; German and/or French would be considered a strong advantage.
