Payroll Specialist

For one of our clients in Zurich, we are looking for 2–3 Payroll Specialists available immediately or on short notice for a long-term assignment of approximately 10–12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full payroll cycle independently and ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
Handle complex payroll cases, escalations, and employee inquiries.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure payroll compliance and service excellence.
Support international payroll activities, including inbound/outbound employee populations and payroll matters related to Liechtenstein.
Provide guidance and support to remote teams when required.
Ensure compliance with Swiss payroll regulations, reporting obligations, and internal controls.
Profile
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll management within Switzerland.
Strong expertise with SAP HCM Payroll.
Experience managing international payroll topics (inbound/outbound employees, Liechtenstein payroll exposure is a strong asset).
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
German is considered a strong asset.
