Senior Relationship Manager – Private Banking (Israel Market) – Contract Role (Zurich)

Overview

A leading international private bank is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join its Wealth Management division in Zurich.

The bank serves high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients globally, offering tailored investment solutions, wealth planning, and advisory services. With a strong international footprint and integrated platform, the institution delivers bespoke strategies across asset management, lending, and cross-border wealth structuring.

This role is part of a strategic growth initiative and offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, international environment, supporting sophisticated clients and complex portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients from the Israeli market, ensuring a high-quality, tailored client experience

• Act as a primary point of contact, coordinating with internal stakeholders (investment specialists, compliance, KYC, operations)

• Oversee client onboarding and account maintenance, ensuring full compliance with AML/KYC requirements

• Monitor account activity and ensure alignment with expected transaction behavior and regulatory standards

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and asset growth

• Handle client requests and complaints with professionalism and responsiveness

• Collaborate closely with Investment Managers and internal partners to deliver holistic solutions

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Swiss and international regulatory frameworks (cross-border, MiFID II, AML, etc.)

• Contribute actively to pipeline development, account planning, and team objectives

• Ensure strict adherence to compliance, risk, and ethical standards

Profile

• 10+ years of experience in private banking / wealth management

• Proven track record managing Israeli HNW/UHNW clients

• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and cross-border regulations

• Solid investment understanding and ability to engage in client discussions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Fluency in English required (additional languages are a plus)

• CFA, MBA or equivalent is considered an advantage
