The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join a leading international organization based in Zurich.

This role sits at the heart of the business, partnering with senior leadership to drive financial performance, steer strategic decision-making, and ensure robust governance across markets.

You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, optimizing profitability, and enhancing financial frameworks in a complex, multi-entity and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the financial strategy in alignment with business objectives

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Committee, supporting key strategic decisions

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

• Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements (Swiss & international)

• Drive cost optimization and profitability initiatives across business units

• Manage risk, controls, and governance frameworks, ensuring best-in-class standards

• Lead and develop high-performing finance teams across multiple locations

• Support M&A, investments, and transformation projects where applicable

• Implement and enhance data-driven financial tools, analytics, and reporting capabilities

Your Profile

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior finance leadership role (CFO / Head of Finance / Finance Director)

• Strong background in financial services, insurance, or complex international environments

• Solid expertise in financial planning, controlling, and regulatory frameworks

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights

• Experience managing multi-country operations and stakeholders

• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence at executive level

• Track record in driving transformation, efficiency, and performance

• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a strong asset
