Validation engineer - Life Sciences

Helvetic Payroll is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a leading company in the life sciences sector, for a Validation Engineer to join their headquarters and production site in Geneva.
Reporting to the Validation Team Leader and working within a team of five, you will be responsible for managing validation activities across products and processes, including cleaning, manufacturing process, and transport validation, supporting technical projects, lifecycle management, and compliance initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Define and execute validation strategies in full compliance with GMP requirements.
Write and review validation documentation (validation plans, risk analyses, protocols, reports).
Plan, coordinate and perform operational validation activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Qualification and MSAT teams (sampling, data collection, analysis).
Manage deviations arising from validation activities and support deviation investigations.
Lead or support the implementation of CAPAs and Change Controls across departments.
Contribute to URS creation regarding process and cleaning requirements.
Author and review technical sections of CTD submissions.
Write and update SOPs according to regulatory expectations.
Maintain and update the Validation Master Plan.
Act as the primary validation contact for internal teams and represent validation during Health Authority inspections and partner audits.
Act as project manager for validation-related projects.
Your Profile
Engineer’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience in validation within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including strategy definition and execution.
Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, validation methodologies and industry best practices.
Fluent in French with very good English (written and spoken).
You are hands-on, rigorous and solution-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Your communication and leadership abilities allow you to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders. You proactively challenge existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
