We are seeking an experienced Director Cross-Asset Structuring to join a strategic team responsible for designing sophisticated multi-asset financial solutions for private and institutional clients. This role combines product development, quantitative analysis, and regulatory support within a highly dynamic global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Mandate Management
Support the Team Head in managing mandates by ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with strategic goals.
Deliver advanced quantitative analysis, interpret financial data, and contribute to model development.
Monitor existing mandates and provide insightful analysis to refine strategies and improve overall client outcomes.
Product Development
Structuring Solutions: Design and support the implementation of complex cross-asset products, including derivatives, structured notes, swaps, asset-backed securities, and financing structures.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand client needs, present product ideas, and communicate structures clearly and effectively.
Risk Analysis: Assess and manage market, credit, operational, and legal risks related to proposed products.
Market Research & Innovation: Identify trends, explore new asset classes, drive innovation, and develop new structuring techniques.
Review legal provisions applicable to different product types and coordinate cross-country discussions to ensure compliance with the highest standards, in collaboration with Legal teams.
Develop efficient investment decision tools using back-testing, modelling techniques, and data-driven analysis.
Regulatory Support
Assist the Team Head with regulatory requirements related to derivatives.
Monitor regulatory developments impacting product structuring and support their implementation across the group.
Communicate regulatory updates internally and promote cost-efficient compliance solutions.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in structured finance, derivatives, or product structuring within leading financial institutions.
Strong ability to project confidence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Proven experience working in global, multi-jurisdictional environments.
Deep understanding of structured products, derivatives, and multi-asset classes.
Advanced financial modelling skills, strong risk analysis capabilities, and proficiency in quantitative methods; programming knowledge (Python, C++).
Expertise in creating investment decision tools, including back-testing frameworks and data analysis models.
Solid understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks impacting product design and execution.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
Excellent command of English (spoken and written); German is an advantage.
